What is the 2011 Theme?
Worldwide Amazing Race

How is it going to work?
Each patrol will be given an envelope with a map of the "world" and the name of the nation to which they must go to start the competition.

At each nation, patrols will take part in a game of some sort. Upon completion of each game, patrols will be given the name of the next nation to which they must travel to participate in another game.

Upon arriving at a nation, and before the patrol participate in the event they will have to answer specific questions about the country they are visiting and will also learn interesting facts about that nation. All patrols must have a time and the signature of a nation's leader on its timesheet for the lunch break.

Patrols must begin the afternoon session at the nation where they were when the morning session ended. Patrols will finish the competition upon arrival at the nation where they began the competition; their arrival time must be noted on their timesheet by the nation's leader.

At the conclusion of the competition, patrol timesheets must be turned in at the world headquarters. In addition to having the scouts go from station to station, the station maps will be located on an orienteering map, and the overall event will be timed.
Points will be awarded on the Learning Sections (Mini Events), and the speed of the completion of the task.
